Schoolboy charm

BIS! neckerchief

Picked this up in Amsterdam at the BIS! surplus shop. When I first wore it to dinner, my friend Ari ridiculed me for thinking it looked cute. Guess what? I still think it’s cute. So what if it looks like I’m wearing a memento from my most recent victim.

Yohji Yamamoto cardigan

My wardrobe consists of things that aren’t flattering but are a joy to wear. This spongey, lightweight cardigan feels like it was designed by a kid who wanted a jacket with wide, arty sleeves and room enough for two people wearing it at the same time. My version of a basic beige bitch’s cozy cardigan during PSL season. A forever piece.

Gucci horsebit tiger loafers

Wore these to the office, as I can’t fucking stand the homogenized, banal uniform of the average tech professional. Where my girls at?

KOLO daypack

Unfortunately, working in tech requires a backpack. This cubic daypack is wonderful; sturdy, handsome, and unzips around three of its sides, allowing you to peel back the front for full access inside. More schoolboy charm than outdoor adventurer.
