I’m a lukewarm Yorgos Lanthimos fan, but I’d never say he’s visually boring. Deer was one of the more interesting films, and I appreciate anything that feels mythical or deals with curses. Fantastic movie poster.

Breaking and tragic news: I’ve lost my J.Brand lambskin trucker jacket. Beloved. Soft as butter. Crinkly. But let’s be honest - it was dethroned by the custom jackets of the past couple of years. Which brought to mind how Henry discarded Anne Boleyn, which prompted me to put on Boys for Pele and sing uncannily to “Talula”. Such a good song.

So yeah, I love my chevron leather jacket.

Maybe it’s because I finally bought the Jun Takahashi coffee table book, but I’ve been defaulting to these shoes a LOT. Suddenly I understand all the other pretty girls in this city who forego shiny pony shoes for comfort. Soon I’ll be leaving the house with flawless makeup and frumpy baggy attire.

Miu Miu trifold

While riding Lyft to the office, I had to hop on a Zoom call, so I pulled out my phone to turn on my hot spot. Ended up losing my phone with all of my cards for the ensuing 48 hours, but thankfully all was recovered. I’ve since learned my lesson and am keeping my cards separate from my phone in this micro trifold wallet from Miuccia.

For the record: I much prefer the older logo compared to the stacked Miu Miu logo of today.
