Last night I watched a new movie with Alicia Silverstone as a pharma marketing exec. It wasn’t as bad as the critics made it seem. That’s all that comes to mind when I look at this shirt.

Even though this bag is from the 90s, it screams 80s to me. It felt appropriate for a denim jacket look. Now if only I had a bob wig and beret to complete the look.

Khaite Grizzo studded jacket

A recent acquisition, and contender for the heaviest thing in my closet (second to my Johnsons Leather Type 3 jacket). The studs are real.

Now, this is meant to be worn oversized by rail thing girls, but at XS it fits pretty close to my shoulders and the sleeves hit right at my wrist. It’s cut without much shape, resulting in an unflattering fit. But as a creative genius once told me when I tried on a cashmere gown that made me look 200 lbs heavier, “I don’t think being flattering is the point. It’s incredible.”

Even if you know your shoe size, Prada shoes vary greatly in fit, which can be vexing. These have perhaps the best fit out of my legion of Prada footwear, and they’ve attracted the most compliments from women. Shine on!
